The New 7 Wonders of the World campaign has brought many people together again and people started remembering the importance of each of the 21 selected entries now.
The TAJ MAHAL itself means the Crowned one and was made to express the love of King Shah Jhahan to his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal to fulfil her last wishes. It is one of the Beautiy of Mughal Art and Architecture in Our country INDIA.
How many of our Country has felt this importance and voted for it only 70 million people have voted all together till now.TAJ MAHAL is the SYMBOL of love and beauty do you believe this?
Taj Mahal is a magnificent Building. Whether it is a symbol of love and beauty is a question of argument. Prior to Taj there was equally a huge Building built by Queen Noorjahan for her husband Jahangir in Delhi. She invited Architects from Persia for the first time for this purpose. So such buildings were built as memorials and not necessarily symbols of Love. Again to declare a Building as a ';Wonder of the World'; does not depend on number of people voting for the same, since all the people who vote need not be connoisseur of Art and Beauty.TAJ MAHAL is the SYMBOL of love and beauty do you believe this?
I voted for it since it is a symbol of one man's eternal love for his wife. My first husband was Indian and I had a white marble copy of it in the living room. His love for Indian was stronger than his love for me, so he moved back to Himachal Pradesh.
To me it has always been a symbol of grief; his, for losing her.
