I saw a documentary about US Beauty Pageants - the catfights and bitchiness was unbelieveable?

especially the way some parents behaved.

Does this really happen and are beauty pageants actually good for the competitors? If so, why?I saw a documentary about US Beauty Pageants - the catfights and bitchiness was unbelieveable?
They really aren't that bad - but yes there are thos psycho girls that believe their lives are pageantry. Then they turn 23 and don't know what to do. (I guess thats why they made the ';Mrs America and Mrs. Senior America pageants lol)

Documentaries and shows tend to oomp the arguments and alot of times those people are egged on, just for the sake of entertainment.

I've done 3 pageants and most of the girls were very kind and supportive of eachother.

Pageants (Miss America pageants anyway) teach you to be very well rounded.

there is no bicheness in any pageants you can't allways belive every thing you hear Report Abuse

yes it really happens. its sad but these girls are prepared from birth to behave this way. and when they don't win they cry and momma gets angry cause of all the money that is spent going to these things. personally i think they should be banned. not a healthy way to raise a child thats for sure.
