What does it mean when a girl all the sudden starts buying a bunch of beauty products and clothes?
She is becoming more aware of her appearance and is either falling into the society crap about beauty or she just wants to do the little things to make herself feel better. I am sure she was purchasing clothes before this moment though, that is a necessity after all. The beauty products are for her own self esteem.What does it mean when a girl all the sudden starts buying a bunch of beauty products and clothes?
a girl is starting to take care of herself and wants to look good for herself, and to the people who look at her everyday, like her friends.
She's become more conscious of her appearance. It could be a lot of things -- peer pressure, boys, a movie she just saw. It's no big deal unless she's maxing out her mom's credit card or something.

she wants to impress somebody
or she is just having fun and trying something new
She's growing up. She wants to take pride in her appearance. It's not a big deal.
she has become a true girl, and she is growing up.
For me, it means I'm bored.
