Besides the make-up, big hair, sash and a dress thing, what can I do to make it a little more exciting?

Go all out! Get a huge crown, bright red lipstick, bouquet of roses, maybe even running mascara from crying after ';winning';.





You'll want an evening gown of course, the flashier the better. If it's for work make sure it's not too revealing. You could always find an 80's prom dress and do an 80's beauty pageant girl.

Whatever happened to the scary costumes?





Nowadays every female either wants to be a ****, princess or beauty queen for halloween. It is so unoriginal!
a prom dress... go to thrift stores or use on old one... go buy a tiara you like from a Claire's kinda store and a sash... you could carry a bouquet of roses too... make sure the tiara is big and flashy!!
Make the dress super flashy...like rhinstones and sequins.
