I know this is the beauty section but help me with this Statistics problem?

a. If one flips a coin, and rolls 3 dice, find the number of possible outcomes.

b. If one flips a coin, and rolls 3 dice, find the possibility of getting a tail.

c. If one rolls two dice, find the probability that both values will be greater than 3.I know this is the beauty section but help me with this Statistics problem?
a) there are two possible outcomes on the coin

there are 6 possible outcomes on each die

2 * 6 * 6 * 6 = 432 different outcomes

b) P(coin lands tails) = 1/2. the dice don't mean anything here

c)

P(Die 1 %26gt; 3 ) = 2/6 = 1/3

P(Die 2 %26gt; 3 ) = 2/6 = 1/3

P( both are %26gt; 3) = 1/3 * 1/3 = 1/9I know this is the beauty section but help me with this Statistics problem?
ok im not positive because i have been out of stats for a while, but....i think this is how you would do the problems..

a. since this is an AND problem you would multiply the 2 things together...flipping a coin would be 2 outcomes..heads or tails..and dice would have 6 sides each..but you are doing 3 dice so thats 18..so 18 times 2 would be 36. Thats just my guess.

b. umm this one im not sure why the dice is included...my answer would be .5 or 50%.

c. since there are 6 sides on a dice...there are 3 numbers greater than 3...so for each one its a 3/6 probability...so 3/6 multiplied by 3/6 = 9/36 or reduced to 1/4 or .25 or %25.
dude. its called calculator. jsut tupe in the number of rolls then press the handy little button. hm. what is it. the button above the abc button on mine. (haha. im outa school fer the summer) and then tyhpe in the number of sides of a coin or w.e wait maybe thats backwards. idk. i dont hink anyone else will answer this question. so i better be the best answerer. haha. uhm and good luck with that. OH and press = (:
